SBSI Nutraceuticals develops vitamin and supplement lines for the sports, fitness and health industry as well as supplements designed to support a healthy liver and lower bad cholesterol levels.

It is also involved in the production of functional drinks, energy drinks, wellness beverages, RTD iced teas and vitamin-enhanced kids drinks.

Enerbrite president and CEO Peter Scalise III said the acquisition is a major step in the growth and development of the company.

"We're confident that with our marketing expertise and SBSI's diverse portfolio of products we can hit the ground running and meet our aggressive growth projections over the next few quarters," Scalise III added.

With the completion of the acquisition, Enerbrite plans to manufacture and distribute SBSI's full line of products that have been formulated, tested and ready to go into production.

Enerbrite Technologies, located in Holbrook, New York specializes in beverage, supplement and healthy lifestyle products.
