Having penetrated the South Indian market, the brand has an annual turnover of Rs 30 crore.

The pickles have been developed by a team of qualified and experienced food technologists, following a systematic and scientific method of developing products for the Maharashtrian palate.

Specialty ingredients like mustard splits and fenugreek splits have been introduced to suitably modify formulations. The chilli powder and spice mix are in tune with the preferences of consumers in Maharashtra.

The colour of the pickles has also been made brighter while maintaining the preferred levels of pungency. Mustard oil has been used to enhance the taste of the pickles.

The product development team conducted interactions with the consumers of the region before initiating work to understand their needs, with the ultimate objective of bridging the gap between their expectations in terms of product attributes in comparison with what is offered by other pickle brands.

Multiple rounds of consumer evaluation were conducted and at each round, it was ensured that the product attributes were further refined to meet their expectations.
The range will be available in five variants - mango; mixed vegetables; lime; green chilli, and khatta meetha aam.

Chinni's pickle is priced at Rs 10 for a 70gm Standy pouch; Rs 20 for a 160gm Standy pouch; Rs 45 for a 280gm jar; Rs 55 for a 340gm jar; Rs 70 for a 500gm jar, and Rs 110 for a 1kg jar. Only the khatta meetha aam variant is available in the 340gm jar.
