Sabra Dipping, a US-based hummus manufacturer, has launched a new hummus flavor - Asian Fusion - under its Garden Variety range.

Sabra Dipping noted that the new flavor combines ginger and sesame flavors with rich hummus. It is topped with carrots and peppers that complement the traditional flavors of Sabra's smooth hummus.

The new variety will be available this month in stores nationwide with more Garden Variety flavors to follow in 2013. The company introduced two other Garden Varieties - Tuscan Herb and Southwest earlier in 2012.

Asian Fusion will join Sabra's family of almost 20 hummus flavors, salsas, guacamoles and Greek yogurt vegetable dips. The company plans to introduce more flavors of Garden Variety hummus in 2013. All varieties of Sabra Hummus are gluten free and certified kosher.

Sabra, which operates a silver LEED certified factory in Virginia, produces a wide range of vegetarian dips and spreads.
