Main Street Ingredients (MSI) has become an independent unit within Agropur's Cheese and Ingredients Division. The focus of the unit will be to provide customers with competitive pricing, while supplying high-quality products to the dairy, nutritional and food processing industries.

MSI joined Agropur, a Canadian dairy cooperative, in January 2011, but the administrative office and manufacturing facilities are still located in La Crosse, Wis., with distribution outlets across North America. Mike Homewood, Director of Ingredient Sales, and Aaron Macha, Vice President of Nutrition Sales for MSI, will continue to oversee its current business activities, while presidential duties will be consolidated under Reneck Cayen.
