Market participants said apart from higher marrige season demand, plenty of ready stocks in the markets mainly held prices around overnight levels.

The following were today’s quotations per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,240-3,340, S-30 Rs 3,220-3,320.

Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 3,110-3,190; S-30 Rs 3,090-3,180.

Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3,145, Kinnoni 3,265, Asmoli 3,230, Dorala 3,150, Budhana 3,165, Thanabhavan 3,165, Dhanora 3,210, Simbholi 3,240, Modi Nagar 3,140, Khatuli 3,145, Dhampur 3,130, Ramala 3,140, Bulandshar 3,160, Anupshar 3,110, Baghpat 3,150, Morna 3,140, Sakoti 3,140, Chandpur 3,140, Amroha 3,145 and Nazibabad 3120.
