They have already been appearing at Whole Foods and other outlets in the West.
Savory Beef & Pork is the newest of five varieties produced in California by husband and wife team Bridget and Tomec Piszczek. Mushroom Cabbage is vegan, and the remaining three are Potato Cheese, Whole Wheat Potato and Spianch Feta. Ingredients include fresh herbs, caramelized onions, roasted garlic, and spices.
The family company, founded in 2011, offers specialty, organic pierogies from a Piszcek grandmother's kitchen in Lubiechowa, Poland. They offer whole wheat pierogi flavors with ancient grains, fresh vegetables, and award winning handcrafted farmer's cheese (rBST free and Kosher). Their pierogies contain no preservatives, no MSG, no GMO ingredients, and absolutely nothing artificial.
