The outbreak has affected at 75 people who attended a picnic in Germantown July 3, leaving 14 hospitalized and 3 with kidney failure as a complication of their infections. The man who died was one of these three. 

Public health officials have so far been unable to determine the source of contamination at the picnic.

Those who became sick after attending the picnic at Neff's Lawn Care are advised to contact the health department at 937-225-4460 to report their illnesses.
