MCR Machinery has been building pumpkin washers for a number of years. Here, the Turban squash and ornamental pumpkins are washed and dried.

"The demand for smaller, simpler washing options has increased progressively. As a result, it was decided to make a smaller and more straightforward machine." the company said.

The machine is filled and emptied manually. "By creating a buffer bath with water, the washed pumpkins are collected in the water. As soon as the buffer is full, the pumpkins are removed manually and taken for further processing." concludes MCR Machinery.
