Now that Summer has, at last, arrived soft fruit in all its varied forms, tastes, size and colours is flying off the shelves.

The benefit of an unparalleled range of products for the fresh produce market through Holfeld Plastics is already finding favour with many of its customers who see the advantage of buying under one roof from an extensive, all embracing range.

The market is forever shifting and expanding in expectations and preferred materials, extended shelf life, food waste and environmental concerns continue to concentrate the minds of packaging manufacturers. As always price, product freshness, packaging innovation and green credentials remain the key drivers.

The double cream range

Holfeld’s soft fruit packaging is the crème de la crème and includes an even larger range of standard crate fit G81 punnets in 5 depths for top sealing or optimal lidding. The G81 range has sloping base vents for optimal product ventilation even when the punnets are stacked and in transit leading to an extended shelf life.

The same profiles are also available in the K37 range – this an ideal top seal range. Then there are the small berry punnets the K28-35, 50. The HP range offers some depths with a divide for mixed fruits and comes with a lid. The range is available in 30, 38-divide, 40, 50, 50-divide, 70 & 83mm depths.
