A China-based water company has signed an agreement with Blue I Water Technologies, a provider of advanced controllers and analyzers for the water treatment, to install 75 water analyzing and control units - HydroGuard HG 702 - to provide water quality monitoring for municipal drinking water.

Based in Guangdong Province of China, the company is now installing the 75 water analyzing and control units.

To ensure drinking water quality and disinfection in municipal potable water, these units will accurately measure a range of parameters.

Blue I Water Technologies CEO Jacob Azran said that this expansion is part of the company's three-year strategic plan to expand its presence in China, South America, and India for which the company is driving its sales, marketing, and R&D efforts towards these markets.

"We are now looking forward to the second half of this year, when Blue I intends to launch new technologies that will enhance our competitiveness in these markets," Azran added.

Established in 2003 in Israel, Blue I Water's clients include Coca Cola, Yoplait, Total Offshore, Euro Disney, the Olympic swimming pool in Beijing, BAZAN Oil Refineries and Israel Electric.
