seafoodA new machine built by seafood package liner manufacturer Sirane is helping the company expand its range of liners.

In a release, the company said the new machine is speeding up and streamlining the production process. The company will now be able to accommodate almost any size or absorbency with its range of absorbent liners. The liners are made to absorb water and fluids, keeping fish colder and fresher during transport.

“Our new machine for Sea-Fresh liners will make us very competitive, and this new pricing combined with our reputation for quality absorbent products should generate a lot of interest,” said Jeremy Haydn-Davies, sales director for food packaging.

Ian Beardsall, director of product & process development, said the new process will help the company better serve its customers.

“We can produce exactly what the customer wants at an attractive price,” he said. “Not only that but we can offer extremely high levels of absorbency which are great for seafood.”
