The shrink bag features rounded bottom, high shrink rate and glossy appearance that together create superior final packaging for any whole bird or breast pack on the grocery shelf, according to the company.
These abuse bags protect the poultry during refrigeration and transport and can be heat sealed or clipped.
The new product for poultry packaging is the latest addition to Flavorseal's range of packaging for meat and cheese products, including Bone Guard, High Barrier and Post Pasteurization bags.
Flavorseal market manager Ryan Till said that many of the company's customers have been looking for a high-performance yet cost-effective poultry shrink bag.
"We think our new Poultry Shrink Bag is their ideal solution," Till added.
Flavorseal specializes in food packaging systems and products for the meat and food processing, foodservice, and retail markets providing customized solutions that improve ways to package, prepare and store food.
