The most commonly faced challenge by wineries is surface condensation, which is formed when beverages are bottled at low temperatures of 1-4 degrees centigrade. Due to condensation, the label does not bond properly with bottle and peels off on the production line or results in inconsistent label positioning.
The new adhesives by Royston have been designed to actively absorb surface water, thus forming a strong bond between label and bottle.
This technology removes the need of bringing bottles up to room temperature for labeling and also supports in-line processing of up to 600 bottles per minute, with consistent label positioning.
Moreover, the new adhesive can withstand humid conditions and varied temperatures. This allows labels to remain intact with bottles that are usually stored in chillers.
The new adhesives by Royston Labels come with a matt, gloss white or metallic material, which allows the companies to decorate the label designs according to their brand identity.
