UAE-based food packaging firm Al Bayader International has unveiled a new production line at its fac…UAE-based food packaging firm Al Bayader International has unveiled a new production line at its facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, for the manufacture of tOWERPAC range of food and beverage containers.
The new line, which was established with an investment of AED15m ($4.08m), is a part of the company's AED80m ($21.77m) investment which was allocated for addressing the increasing market demand.
tOWERPAC containers are designed to interlock through an ingenious screw mechanism. The containers, which are also available a retail shelf-friendly flat bottom version, come in 1oz to 24oz sizes, reported Ameinfo.com.
The containers have been designed for the markets in the UAE and the wider Middle East. They are suitable for the food and beverage industry as well as hotel chains, niche restaurants, gourmet catering houses and international airlines.
Al Bayader International CEO Nidal Haddad said that conceptualization, design and production of the tOWERPAC range required the collaboration of leading experts and companies from all over the world and the integration of market and customer feedback.
The tOWERPAC range will lead to huge savings on inventory costs, more efficient utilization of shelf space and easy access to products for retailers, Haddad added.
