According to the company, the robot can be integrated within high-speed automated packaging applications, to help increase productivity and food safety.

 

The Adept Quattro s650H is a parallel robot specifically designed for high-speed manufacturing, packaging, material handling, and assembly applications. It features a four-arm rotational platform, in order to facilitate maximum speed and acceleration across the entire work envelope.

According to the company, the Adept Quattro enables companies to maximize the throughput of their production lines. The robot is accepted by the USDA for meat and poultry processing.

It can be used for raw food handling, flexible packaging, material handling, kitting, and assembly applications where performance is key to decision-making.

The robot will be showcased at the ProPak China 2012 event in Shanghai, China, which will be be held from 18-20 July 2012.
