In this position, a new role at Ahold USA, Singh will oversee testing and development of new format opportunities.
As part of this transition, Mark McGowan, EVP of merchandising, will transition into Singh’s role of EVP of operations. A search to identify McGowan’s replacement in merchandising is underway and he will continue in this role until an appointment has been made.
Both Singh and McGowan will continue to report to Ahold USA COO James McCann and serve as members of Ahold USA’s executive board.
