Jake's Wayback Burgers, a US-based fast casual restaurant chain, has signed a deal with Wayback Argentina to open 30 new outlets in the South American country.

This store development program is part of the chain's strategy to expand globally, with Argentina to be the 29th country where Jake's Wayback Burgers has expanded.

Recently, Jake's Wayback Burgers expanded into 28 countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa region.

Commenting on the deal, Wayback Argentina president Leonardo Llamas Trivi said that the fast-casual concept is lacking in Argentina and Wayback wants to fill that void.

"We believe in the brand's deeply rooted history and because of its flexibility, cost efficiency, quality and menu range, we are confident it will quickly become a franchise leader in the Argentina market," added Trivi.

Jake's Wayback Burgers presently operates over 70 locations across 23 states.
