Skuna Bay Craft Raised Salmon has partnered with Gerard & Dominique Seafoods to introduce a cold-smoked salmon product.

Skuna Bay's Gerard & Dominique Craft Smoked Salmon is produced with Chef Dominique Place's artisanal smoking and curing method less than 200 miles from Skuna's farms off of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The product is smoked in small batches with a blend of hardwoods and fruitwoods, a dry cure method and deep trimming. Gerard & Dominique have been smoking salmon since 1990.

"We are fortunate to have discovered Chef Dominique's obsession with uncompromising quality in creating his world-class smoked salmon. What we loved most, in addition to his craftsman approach, was that his method glorified the salmon and made it the star instead of overpowering it with smoke or curing," said David Mergle of Skuna Bay Salmon.

Skuna Bay Craft Raised Salmon is available through Skuna Bay's U.S. distributors. In addition, the product will be made available direct-to-consumers online in November at www.gdseafoods.com.
