Chan submitted his resignation in early November. The company said it is searching for a permanent replacement and expects to fill the position within the first quarter of 2014.
In the interim, Chan’s immediate subordinates will oversee the functions under his direct supervision with no impact expected to the company’s daily operations.
“On behalf of the employees of TUF and its subsidiaries, I would like to thank Mr. Chan for his valuable contributions to the group’s expansion over the past decade, including his involvement in the firm’s major acquisitions and fund raising activities, and wish him good health and the very best in his future endeavors,” said Thiraphong Chansiri, president.
