Mr Cherrie has over 12 years’ experience in the food and beverage industry, including the last four at Symington’s UK, and has a proven track record of strong commercial and business achievements.

“I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to lead Symington’s entry in Australia where there is so much opportunity for growth,” Mr Cherrie said. “The similarities between the local and UK grocery markets present a significant opportunity for our proven approach to portfolio management, and I look forward to giving Australians more and better choices in the grocery aisles,” he said.

Its portfolio of brands including Ragu, Chicken Tonight, Campbell’s, Ainsley Harriot and Aunt Bessie’s in the UK, and Chicken Tonight, Raguletto and Five Brothers in Australia.
