Burger King Worldwide Inc. has expanded its BK Delivers program to the Detroit area. This program is currently available in Boston, New York, Miami, Tucson, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco Bay Area, Las Vegas, Sacramento, greater Washington, D.C., Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, Minneapolis and Spokane.

At present, BK Delivers has one live delivery restaurant in the northern suburbs of Detroit serving Royal Oak, Birmingham, Madison Heights, Clawson, Berkley, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Ferndale and Hazel Park. This initial location will serve as a training ground; allowing operators to understand the intricacies of the system and to train their crew members prior to expanding the offering to other locations in this Detroit metropolitan area.

BK Delivers allows consumers in the delivery zone to customize and order their BK favorites by visiting BKDelivers.com from a computer or mobile phone or by calling toll free 1-855-Order-BK (855)-673-3725. Consumers receive hot food that stays hot, and cold items that stay cold, thanks to BK proprietary thermal packaging technology.

With a minimum food order of $10, consumers can choose from a wide variety of menu offerings. Orders can be placed during delivery operating hours of 11 am until 10 pm. Delivery must be to a physical address that falls within a delivery zone of a participating restaurant. Delivery times and prices vary by location.
