Heck - the prHeckemium sausage brand set up by Debbie and Andrew Keeble - is planning a move into burgers.

Heck chilled beefburgers are set to go on sale in the mults within the next six weeks. The rsp has yet to be determined but would be “attractive,” according to Andrew Keeble.

The burgers were made with British beef, had a meat content of 97% and were gluten free, he added. The launch would be supported by a £500,000 above-the-line campaign to promote the Heck brand.

“We are focusing on the animal’s husbandry and welfare, and think we can drive incremental growth in this category as we did with sausages,” said Keeble.
