MET-Rx products will now be more accessible to Canadians, thanks to a distribution deal signed between MET-Rx and Nutrition Club Canada.

Nutrition Club Canada, a North Bay Ontario -based Sports Nutrition Distributor, will distribute MET-Rx® complete line of high quality protein products to its existing retail accounts, including health food and sports nutrition shops, gyms and fitness clubs, amateur and professional sport teams, and university sport programs.

The deal will put a wide range of MET-Rx products in the hands of the athletes who have the greatest need to leverage the unique nutritional workout benefits they offer.

“This alliance enables us to offer the MET-Rx® exclusive protein blend called METAMYOSYN®, in a variety of sports food product offerings,” said John Messenger, President of Nutrition Club. “It also complements our breadth in the performance nutrition market, offering us a diverse range of products that promote vigorous health by making advanced nutrition easier, more convenient and more effective through the use of MET-Rx protein bars, supplements, and shakes.”

Based on metabolic research, METAMYOSYN® is an innovative, highly bio-available protein blend, exclusive to MET-Rx and originally developed by a physician, that supports muscle and strength.

“Met-Rx was one of the pioneers in the sports nutrition category, and continues to be one of the most innovative and influential brands in the U.S.,” said Carlson Teakle, General Manager, MET-Rx® Canada. “We are truly excited to be working with a partner in Canada that shares our vision of bringing Canadians some of the best products the sports nutrition world has to offer!”

MET-Rx products will be available in these channels beginning in January.
