ConAgra Foods, Omaha, Nebraska, is expanding a plant in Russellville, Arkansas, to boost production of frozen meals.

As part of the expansion, originally announced last September, ConAgra Foods anticipates spending $100 million and adding more than 80 new jobs. The project is a result of ConAgra Foods' 2012 acquisition of the Bertolli and P.F. Chang's Home Menu frozen meal business, which will be added to the facilitys production lines.

The Russellville location, in operation since 1964, already produces Banquet, Healthy Choice and Marie Callender's products. It presently has a work force of about 1,300.

"ConAgra Foods has a long history in the community, and we are excited to grow our presence here," said Mike Tracy, senior vice-president of the consumer foods supply chain for the company.
