Tyson’s NatureRaised line to include frozen poultry
NatureRaised Foods, a product of Tyson Foods, Inc., announced an extension of its NatureRaised Farms…NatureRaised Foods, a product of Tyson Foods, Inc., announced an extension of its NatureRaised Farms brand line of chicken products to include frozen chicken items.
The products began shipping in early May, according to the company. NatureRaised Farms frozen, ready-to-eat chicken products offered are:
• Gluten Free Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets, 12 oz. package
• Gluten Free Grilled Chicken Breast Strips, 12 oz. package
• Whole Grain Chicken Breast Nuggets, 12 oz. package
• Southern Style Crispy Chicken Strips, 12 oz. package
The chickens are antibiotic-free, do not contain added hormones and are fed a vegetarian diet, according to the company.
“More than ever, consumers want choices when they shop for their families,” said Joe DePippo, senior vice president of natural foods business development for Tyson Foods, which owns Nature Raised Foods and the NatureRaised Farms brand. “Research shows strong and growing demand for all natural and minimally processed foods, and that’s the market we’ll fill with NatureRaised Farms products.”
